How Royalty Payouts Work

We believe artists should be paid clearly, consistently, and without having to jump through hoops. When we license your art and turn it into products (like stickers, prints, or digital items), we split the profits with you in the form of royalty payments. Here's how it works:

A royalty is a payment you receive every time your licensed artwork is sold on a Pushroom Art product. Instead of paying you once upfront, we share the profits over time. So the more your art sells, the more you earn.

For each product sold that features your art, here’s what typically happens:

💰 When Do I Get Paid?

• Payouts happen once a month (usually at the end of the month).

• We use Venmo to send payments.

• You’ll get paid once your total royalties owed reach $5 or more.

• You’ll receive a monthly report showing what sold and what you earned.

What are we doing to earn our percentage of the profits? We know running a shop or promoting your own art can be exhausting, especially if you’re managing chronic pain, executive dysfunction, or burnout. That’s where Pushroom Art comes in.

When you license your art to us:

• 🎨 We turn it into real products — from stickers and prints to apparel and digital files

• 📦 We handle production — printing, packaging, shipping, and restocking are on us

• 📣 We do the marketing — using social media, SEO, and email to promote your work

• 🛍️ We sell through multiple channels — including our website, Etsy, and print-on-demand platforms

• 🧾 We manage payments and bookkeeping — so you don’t have to chase invoices or crunch numbers

• ❤️ We credit your work whenever possible — and always aim to uplift you as a creator

In short: You make art. We make it work for you.

📜 Quick Overview of Licensing

• You keep ownership of your art. We're just licensing it for use on certain products.

• Licenses last 1 year, and you can always choose not to renew.

• You can license the same art elsewhere — our licenses are non-exclusive.

• We may resize, crop, or gently adjust your art to fit certain formats (like stickers or shirts), but we’ll never alter your core work without your OK.
