Welcome to Pushroom Art, a licensing platform, and a safe space for artists who live with chronic pain, disability, or neurodivergence (or all three, like a triple-decker sandwich of chaos and brilliance 🌩️).

Who We Are

Pushroom Art started in the middle of everyday… everything . I’m a single, neurodivergent mom raising neurodivergent kids, trying to build a life that doesn’t force us to mask, overextend, or burn out just to survive. Which means everything we do comes from lived experience, overwhelm, and topped with a whole lot of empathy.

This business started as a survival plan. Because trying to navigate the world as a disabled or neurodivergent person is hard enough. Trying to build a creative career on top of that? Nearly impossible without the right supports.

So I decided: if we couldn’t find a system that worked for our brains and bodies, we’d build one. Hopefully we build something that can help more than just my little nook.

We’re here to create something gentler. And helpful.

Why We Do What We Do

Pushroom isn’t just about art. It’s about access, representation, sustainability.

We want talented people who’ve been unsure if their art has value, if it’s any good… to have a chance to feel success from their work. Help artists who are overlooked by mainstream creative industries finally get the visibility (and compensation) they deserve. We want monetary gain from art to feel possible for artists who create from bed, who use adaptive tools, who take breaks for migraines and meltdowns.

We want to enable artists to focus on creating art and not all the business side they might not enjoy. If we can make life even 2% easier for one more disabled artist? We’re doing what we came here to do.
